Story Tips & Developing Information
Tell me what happened, where it happened, when it happened, how you learned about it, and whether an official source, document, photograph, video, or other evidence is available.
If the situation is still developing or you are unsure whether something has been confirmed, say so directly.
Photos and Video
Original photos and video can be especially useful during developing incidents, severe weather, transportation disruptions, public events, and emergency response.
When submitting media, include where and when it was captured and whether you took it yourself.
How Submissions Are Verified
Information is evaluated against available sources before it is treated as confirmed reporting.

Anonymous Tips
Anonymous information may still be useful, but it is generally harder to verify.
Anonymous submissions will not be treated as confirmed reporting simply because they were submitted. If there is no reliable way to independently verify the information, it may not be published.
